Every week for the rest of our lives, we'll be releasing an original ringtone. We're deadly serious about this.
When we came upon this project by our friends Helena - who also happens to be the next artist for The Present Group - and Joseph we instantly thought "what a wonderful ringtone this would undoubtedly make". Sure we're incessantly thinking that particular thought, but their sculpture recordings really are wonderful. Here's the description of "Sculpture Garden Carillon":
Joseph del Pesco and I were invited by the Oakland Museum of California to develop a project which would reinterpret works in the museum's permanent collection. Working with the large metal sculptures that populate the museum's multi-tiered gardens, we created a sound project that marks the closing and renovation of the museum's art and history galleries. Starting January 2, 2008 and running through October, 2009 (or until renovations are completed), Sculpture Garden Carillon can be heard across the museum grounds.
We started by digitally recording gong-like sounds emitted by twelve sculptures when struck with a fleece covered drum mallet. Using a computer program to update the museum's existing (decommissioned) carillon system, the “voices” of these sculptures sound out over the museum grounds every hour of the day and night. The number of times each sculpture rings tells the hour: the sound of one sculpture rings once at one o'clock, another rings twice at two o'clock, and so on, until a twelfth sculpture, accompanied by a chime, rings twelve times at noon and midnight. Posters distributed at the museum and in the neighborhood provide a key to the hourly chimes and the corresponding sculptures.

OR, you can have the mp3 (or a link to the mp3) sent directly to your phone via text message by filling out the form below (have patience and let us know if this does not work, we're still working the kinks out):
If you have any trouble with the above links or texting, please see THIS PAGE, which we'll be updating as we hopefully improve things to work with as many phones as possible. If this doesn't help, email us at pants3x AT gmail.com
I don't know what meatbread is (it appears to be a sandwich), but I do know an excellent way to keep said sandwich from falling apart when I see it. The bacon weave is like the Feats of Meat duct tape, you can use it for pretty much anything.

You know, I spent some time trying to come up with a nice little Michael Jackson ringtone tribute this week. It seemed simple: take some MJ samples, surrounded with a bunch of weird "pantsy" blips and bloops, and PRESTO!
But here's the problem. You don't want that. I don't want that. What we all want is pure, unadulterated Michael. So I'm breaking the rules here a bit and providing you with this, because it's what SHOULD be your ringtone this week.

From a creative use of workout time, to a worldwide internet meem, to a heart warming joke among friends, to our first reader submitted ringtone, to the brightening of a fellow bus riders day.. . such is the glory and wonder our era.
Much thanks to loyal Pantsfan M. Pergam for turning his friend's voicemail message into a treat we can all share.

As you probably noticed from all the massive parties breaking out all over the city, Monday was our very own Lauren Lauren's birthday! In celebration of that fact, here's a birthday ringtone!
Special thanks to "Choral Pleasure" for "providing" some choice vocal stylings on this one. Choral Pleasure just so happens to feature one half of the Pants Pants Pants Sparkle Motion Dance Dance Dance Team, and one of THEIR birthdays is coming up soon too! RELEVANCE!

This is Doctor Mike. Doctor Mike is a doctor. Despite what the title and chorus of this ringtone appear to claim, Doctor Mike is not a plastic surgeon. In fact, Doctor Mike is a double doctor. Now Doctor Mike has a theme song:

You might remember a few weeks back when I dubbed "Super Breakout" the summer jam of 2009. Well, the summer is going to have to make room for yet another jam. It's a good thing the summer is designated jamming time. I don't think the summer really saw this one coming, though. This one is going to take the summer by storm.
The jam I'm about to drop on you features frequent ringtone contributor Snack Wafflesticks. Snack is responsible not only for the vocal stylings, but also for the song's inspiration and for the lovely illustration you see above. Thanks Snack Wafflesticks! Check out "Brang Brang Brang" (and turn those speakers UP! This is finally your excuse to put that subwoofer on your phone that you've always wanted):

Randy Taylor is now the unofficial mayor of Feats of Meat-town.
Be careful if you're working, this has bad words. Like "Fucking Pussy Roll of Sausage." You can bet your ass that "Fucking Pussy Roll of Sausage" will be a ringtone title very soon.
