I stand corrected. Reno is not hot. CHICO is hot.

The Scrumdiddlyumptious Superfuntasitour had quite the fourth of july. The Crux was kind enough to put together a show last minute for us so we wouldn't have to spend our nations birthday showless. Thanks so much to Ty and Max for throwing things together at their sweet space.

The show went beautifully, complete with a perfectly timed Chico fireworks intermission. We loved meeting everyone and were psyched that they chose to spend their fourth of july with us.

After packing back up (you'll be pleased to know that we made great strides our packing system last night), it was time to really celebrate. After a brief journey to Duffey's for some cold watery AMERICAN beer, it was too hot to do anything else but jump in a creek. Scott, our host for the evening, led the charge and we thank him profusely for that. It is seriously unbelievable the difference a quick midnight jump in a creek will do for your morale.

I type this from Scott's sweet ass house in Chico (thanks again Scott). We head up to Eugene today. Our hopes are for a break from the heat, maybe that way we can stop whining about it on myspace. We'll try to keep the updates coming.
